How to get Mewtwo and Mew in Pokémon Light Platinum?
To get these two Pokémon, we recommend having previously caught the 3 legendary birds.
IMPORTANT: The HMs needed to catch these Pokémon will be Fly and Surf.
Mewtwo
The first thing we need to do is head to Drakebreath City and go north of the city in order to reach Route 416.
Once here, we will have to use Surf until we reach the Team Steam secret base. Once we enter, we must go through the doors on the left. Once we reach the top part, Mewtwo will be standing there ready for a battle at level 50. (We recommend saving the game beforehand).
Mew
To catch Mew, we will have to head to the Lauren region, specifically to Normek City. Once there, we will need to go all the way to the left, to Route 510.
Near one of the tall grass spots, we will see it. Every time we approach it, it will become invisible, but this doesn't prevent us from interacting with it and then having a battle. Mew will be at level 40 and is very easy to catch.
