Pokémon Light Platinum step-by-step guide
Travel to Merydian City and head to Route 510.
Items on Route 510:
- Super Potion
- Ultra Ball
- Lax Incense
You will find Team Steam members blocking the way. In front of a black spot on the ground, use the move Dig.
You will appear in an underground cave controlled by Team Steam. Head north breaking the ice rocks with ICE SMASH to confront Percy, who is trying to capture Kyurem:
- Percy's Team: Dragonite (Lv. 74), Garchomp (Lv. 77)
Upon being defeated, Percy will leave the organization and Kyurem will depart. Exit the cave returning to the entrance hole and using Dig again.
Continue west to reach Noormeak City.
The only thing you can do before taking on the Gym Leader is to trade a Braviary for a Kadabra in one of the houses.
The leader is at the city hospital taking care of his Alakazam. Enter the hospital and head to the second floor.
He will ask you for an Enigma Berry to heal the Pokémon, which you can get in the last house of Merydian City right before Route 510.
Once the berry is delivered, return to the gym. At the entrance, Yellow will be waiting for a battle:
- Yellow's Team: Serperior (Lv. 76), Samurott (Lv. 77), Charizard (Lv. 78)
After defeating him, enter the gym:
- Gym Leader: Psychic Type
- Team: Espeon (Lv. 74), Bronzong (Lv. 75), Alakazam (Lv. 76)
- Reward: Illusion Badge and TM Water Pulse.
