Pokémon Light Platinum step-by-step guide

After obtaining the ticket, head to the port in Seanport City (located in the upper-right area). Enter, move upward, and go through the left door. Then, go right and talk to the sailor to set sail for the Lauren region.

• In one of the houses, a girl gives you Mystic Water.

Upon disembarking in Suner Town, head upward. After a brief encounter between Professor Ellie and Yellow, continue north to enter Route 501.

Move right, then upward, and after crossing the tall grass area, go left all the way. Finally, follow the path upward and to the right to reach Carmin Town.

Go to the professor's lab, located next to the Pokémon Center. Head to the back right to talk to him.

He will allow you to choose one of the three region starters (Snivy, Tepig, or Oshawott).

After choosing, take the right exit toward Route 507.

Advance along the lower path to the right until you find an ascending trail. Follow it to the left to battle Pearl. Her team is:

After defeating her, return to Carmin Town and take Route 502 heading west.

Upon defeating him, continue to the left to enter Rocavel City.

Before taking on the Gym Leader, you can obtain the following items:

• Predator Fossil and Spiral Fossil (which you can revive in the museum of Groment City)

To get the first badge, you must speak with Rochelle, the leader of Rocavel City, in the mines west of the city. After the conversation, she will move to the refinery.

Enter the refinery and advance to the second floor. After talking to her, she will finally return to the gym.

Rochelle relies on fossil Pokémon; her team is as follows:
