How to get Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos in Pokémon Light Platinum?
We start the legendary guide with the three Kanto birds. To be able to catch these three birds and many more legendaries, we must first head to Drakebreath City.
IMPORTANT: You must have completed both Pokémon Leagues to catch most of the legendaries.
Once we arrive in the city, we will have to enter the cave located there, Mt. Draken.
We continue to the very end, and in the last room, we will encounter Champion Lance, who will challenge us to a battle. He will have Dragonite, Aerodactyl, and Charizard on his team.
Once we defeat him, he will give us the Orange Pass. With this item, we will be able to access the area where Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are caught.
Once we have the Orange Pass, our next destination will be Emerald City. Once here, we will have to head North until we reach Bramboch Town. In this town, there is a man near an airplane. Talk to him, and he will then ask if we want to go to FIELD ZONE or STORM ZONE. We will choose the second option, STORM ZONE.
Articuno
Once we arrive, we will have to use Surf. In this area, we can find the 3 Kanto birds, and the order is as follows: The island is divided into 3 parts; all the way to the left and then north, we will find Articuno.
Zapdos
Then we will have to position ourselves back in the center of the island (right where the man with the airplane left us), and once there we will have to go all the way up, heading north, and we will find Zapdos.
Moltres
Finally, we will follow the same procedure. We will position ourselves again in the center of the island, and this time we will have to go all the way to the right and then head north, so we come across red trees and find the third legendary Kanto bird, Moltres.
