How to get Celebi in Pokémon Light Platinum?
To get Celebi you will have to head to Darkdusk City, the city of the Ghost-type Gym. Remember that to achieve this, it is essential to have defeated Eusine to activate the Johto legendaries events.
IMPORTANT: The only HM needed to catch this Pokémon will be Fly.
Once you are there, you will have to head south, all the way down, thus reaching Route 410. You will have to cross the entire bridge, which is full of Trainers, until you reach Darkdusk Woods.
Once there, activate a Repel to avoid Pokémon in the tall grass and head left, follow a long path until you finally find the Ilex Forest Pokémon.
Remember to save the game before starting the battle in case you make it faint. It will be at level 40 and its catch rate is relatively low (It only took me 3 Ultra Balls at 1 HP).
This way you will be able to catch Celebi. For more legendaries go to our Legendaries section and catch 'em all.
Did you know? Even though Celebi is genderless, in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness, it refers to itself as a girl; this may be due to it being in its Shiny form, which is pink.
