How to get Virizion, Terrakion, and Cobalion in Pokémon Light Platinum?
Before you can catch any Unova Legendary Pokémon, the first thing you need to do is head to Carmin Town and battle Blaine, who is in front of the Pokémon Lab. Blaine has 3 Pokémon and it will be an easy battle. Once you defeat him, the appearance of Unova Legendary Pokémon will be triggered throughout the region.
IMPORTANT: You must have completed both Pokémon Leagues to be able to catch most of the legendaries.
Terrakion
Obtaining the Swords of Justice is quite curious. Once you defeat Blaine, head to Route 508 and go north, use Overheat to clear the logs, and just before entering the tall grass, you will have a battle against Terrakion, so make sure to save the game a few steps back.
Cobalion
With Cobalion it's the same procedure but this time on Route 505. In the only place with tall grass, it will appear in the same way as Terrakion.
Virizion
Virizion is the strangest of all. You must go to Central City towards Route 402, right before entering Inhore Woods. A figure of the Pokémon will appear and that's it. If your party is full, it will be sent to the PC.

Did you know? Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion are inspired by The Three Musketeers from Alexandre Dumas' novel. Cobalion is Athos (the serious leader), Terrakion is Porthos (the strong and robust one), and Virizion is Aramis (the elegant and fast one). Furthermore, along with the young Keldeo (d'Artagnan), they form the Swords of Justice group.
