How to get Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem in Pokémon Light Platinum?
Before you can catch any Unova Legendary Pokémon, the first thing you need to do is head to Carmin Town and battle Blaine, who is in front of the Pokémon Lab. Blaine has 3 Pokémon and it will be an easy battle. Once you defeat him, the appearance of Unova Legendary Pokémon will be triggered throughout the region.
IMPORTANT: You must have completed both Pokémon Leagues to be able to catch most of the legendaries.
Reshiram and Zekrom
Once you defeat Blaine, head to Serenity City, then go into Route 417 until you find Mt. Icestorm (the ice cave of the Zhery region).
Once there, you must access the cave where the Team Steam events took place during the adventure. But this time, you will have to go to the left and right rooms where Reshiram and Zekrom will be at Level 50.
Kyurem
For Kyurem, you must head to DrakeBreathe City and go north until you almost reach Victory Road. Before going up the waterfall, you must go through the space between the waterfall and Route 415.
It will take you to Peak Mt. Kyurem where the legendary will be waiting for you at Level 50.
Did you know? Kyurem is the empty shell of the great original dragon of Unova. In Taoism, it represents wuji (the absence of yin and yang), complementing Reshiram (yang/fire) and Zekrom (yin/lightning). If its internal freezing energy escapes, its own body freezes.
