How to get Dialga and Palkia in Pokémon Light Platinum?
Before you can catch any Sinnoh Legendary Pokémon, what you must do first is head to Noormeak City and battle Cynthia. She will have 3 Pokémon and it will be an easy battle. Once you defeat her, it will trigger the appearance of Sinnoh Legendary Pokémon all over the region.
IMPORTANT: It is necessary to have completed both Pokémon Leagues to be able to catch most legendaries.
Dialga
Head to the Lauren League and make your way to Mt. Oren. You must reach the room where the last event with Team Steam Leader Zero took place.
Once there, you must head west and talk to the signpost, which is actually a portal to the room where Dialga is waiting at level 40.
Palkia
For Palkia, you have to do the exact same thing except you must head to the signpost that is facing east. Enter the portal and Palkia will be waiting for you at level 40.
