How to get Jirachi in Pokémon Light Platinum?
Before you can catch any Hoenn Legendary Pokémon, you first need to head to Snowce City and battle against Steven. After defeating him, it will trigger the appearance of Hoenn Legendary Pokémon all over the region.
Jirachi is a Legendary Pokémon that historically has been one of the hardest to obtain. Luckily, in this ROM hack its capture is much more accessible if you know where to look.
IMPORTANT: It is mandatory to have completed both Pokémon Leagues to be able to catch Jirachi.
The first thing we will have to do is head to Central City and go to the train station to travel to the World Championship.
Once there, you must use Surf towards the east of the island. On the first island you see in that direction, walk a few steps north and you will find Jirachi waiting for a worthy challenger.
We recommend that you save your game before starting the battle. Jirachi will appear at level 40 and has a comfortable catch rate, so with a few Ultra Balls you should be able to catch it without problems.
